His Holiness the Dalai Lama Attends Prayer Offering

Dharamsala, HP, India, 8 March 2009 - His Holiness the Dalai Lama presided over a prayer offering at the Main Temple to mark the anniversary of the imposition of martial law in Lhasa, Tibet on 8 March 1989. Prayers were offered for all those Tibetans killed inside Tibet as well as those who continue to suffer. His Holiness later addressed a three-day meeting of the leaders of Tibetan Buddhist schools being held in his residence. | |
