Teaching Programs Begin In Dharamsala

Dharamsala, HP, India, 25 September 2008 (Photos by Tenzin Choejor, OHHDL) - His Holiness the Dalai Lama today began a three-day teaching on Je Tsongkhapa's Song of the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (lamrim dhuedon) at the Main Tibetan Temple primarily for people from southeast Asia at the request of the The Tibetan Buddhist Center (Singapore).  This will be followed by a five-day teaching on Arya Nagarjuna's Commentary on Bodhicitta (jangchup semdrel) and Kamalashila's The Middling Stages of Meditation (gomrim barpa) from September 30 to October 4 at the Main Tibetan Temple.  These teachings are primarily for Chinese Buddhists mainly from Taiwan.
