Urgent Notice - Jispa & Manali Teachings

August 9th 2010

The entire visit to Jispa cannot be 100% confirmed because of problems being faced with travel logistics. The terrible road conditions makes it not possible for His Holiness to travel by road. Travel by helicopter will depend on weather conditions and other safety factors. In lieu of this, we have scheduled the confirmed visit to Manali first. The visit to Jispa will tentatively follow the visit to Manali. His Holiness will give a 1/2 day teaching on Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo's 37 Practices of A Boddhisattva (laklen sodunma) in Manali on August 18. His Holiness will tentatively give teachings in Jispa on August 20 to 22. On August 20 he will teach on Atisha’s Lamp for the Path to Enlightenment (jangchup lamdron). On August 21 he will confer the Heruka (dechok) Initiation. On August 22 he will confer the Avalokiteshvera (chenresig) Initiation.
