- 'Even though we've never met, deep down, I know you ... because we are all the same. We are human beings -    mentally, emotionally, physically, we are all the same.'

- '[Religions] are fundamentally different, but they all have the same goal: Warm-heartedness.'

- 'From the day of birth to the last day, to death, compassion is the key to a meaningful life.'

- '[The purpose] of our hands is not for boxing, but for hugging.'

- 'We cannot promote human value through law, through police, through force - only through good qualities.'

- 'All religions have the same potential to help humanity.'

Wroclaw, Poland, 21 September 2016 - More than thirty Tibetans and Mongolians living or studying in Poland came to see His Holiness the Dalai Lama before he left for his day’s engagements. He spoke to them briefly: "Tibet is known as the Roof of the World, but also as the Land of Avalokiteshvara. We Tibetans have our own language, with its own writing, which is the best medium for accurately explaining Buddhist teachings."
