His Holiness will confer the Chakrasamvara Initiation in the Krishnacharya Tradition (dechok nakpo pa wang) at the request of Gandan Tegchenling Monastery, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia as well as several Tibetan lamas at the Main Tibetan Temple. On March 8 His Holiness will confer the preliminary initiation and on March 9 will confer the actual initiation. Please note that people attending the initiation are required to do the daily practice of the Six-Session Guru Yoga which is compulsory for Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments. They also need to do the daily practice of the Chakrasamvara Sadhana (dechok dakye) or at least the Triple Purification Practice (dakpa sum kyi nyeljor) of Chakrasamvara.

His Holiness the Dalai Lama will give 3 days of teachings on the mornings of July 21, 23 & 24 at Shewatsel Teaching Ground near Choglamsar at the request of the Ladakh Buddhist Association and the Ladakh Gonpa Association. On July 21, His Holiness will teach on Gyalsey Thokme Sangpo's 37 Practices of a Boddhisattva (laklen sodunma). On July 23 morning His Holiness will confer the Avalokiteshvara Initiation (chenresig wang). Finally, on July 24 a long life prayer to His Holiness will be offered by the Ladakh Buddhist Association and the Ladakh Gonpa Association.
